兰道陶斯大教堂是由冰岛知名建筑师Guejón Samúelsson设计建造于1929年建造的，教堂比邻雷克雅未克的使馆区，附近便是法国、比利时和美国的领事馆。该教堂为一座天主教堂，教堂中的珍藏莫过于祭坛上高耸的耶稣雕像，取材于雪松，由巴塞罗那艺术家Campanya设计制作而成。 教堂外则有一尊半身雕塑，是为了纪念主导修建这座教堂的Bishop Meulenberg而树立。
